It would be my next car if it was offered in a manual. LCI E90's are a wonderful thing. Lots of torque is a wonderful thing. Diesel MPG is a wonderful thing.

I hear the auto in it isn't that bad though, I really wanna test one out.

Oh the auto is great! I DD'd a '11 328i xDrive with the auto. No problems, fast enough. If you're in manual mode, it'll choose gears for you at some times, but most of the time it's great.

E91 335d is a real thing..... Just not in the USA. Not too sure about the transmission though, that would be the ultimate DD.

I DD an '07 328i with the same transmission, you hit the nail right in the head. It's a good auto transmission, but the 335d uses a heavier duty tranny to deal with all the extra torque.

Haha I'm trying to not go crazy on mods, I got the trunk for cheap from a friend who bought a CSL trunk for his 335i, and the lights didn't set me back too much. Besides that I'm probably gonna go with LCI headlights (pre LCI ugly Amber corners + ugly halogens), wheels, suspension bits. If I can get a good price on a BMW performance exhaust.... I'd be pretty damn satisfied.

That would near impossible swapping a manual into an E91 335d without making custom everything. BMW autos are really good though. 400+ torques in a BMW wagon!

It's even better when it's on a 335i :)

IMO BMW PE is the best exhaust for a 328i. Just wish they were a little cheaper!

I got perm banned after 3 years and no offenses after saying lol to a troll post on bimmerpost. Seriously, the mods there have zero tolerance there so all the really funny things get deleted within a hour.

Yeah I gotta agree with you. It's a great forum but some of the members are just huge tools and act like their $20k BMW is a pinnacle of engineering. It's better to be a lurker on e90post haha.
